Meat VS Plant Eaters

So I know it’s a popular belief that we (as humans) have always eaten meat.

Yet, we clearly have not always known how to make a fire to cook it.

I really can’t imagine our ancestors as savages, ripping apart raw meat and relying on that solely as a nutritional source when long ago in the tropics where we originated from there was a bounty of beautiful fruits hanging from the trees. Dancing, swinging in the tree, just waving at us, within arms reach. No one passed that up to go run after an animal and possibly hurt themselves. If anything plants sustained humans until their first kill, or in between kills.

Think way back, before we could make tools to kill animals: what were we eating? Quick fuel. The easiest fuel: FRUIT! And sweet leafy greens. Berries too. We foraged first. And then yes, we hunted. Our sweet tooth is not a curse; it is biological.

Fun fact: “All animals and plants share the same DNA which is basically a code of only 4 ‘letters’ which code for the same amino acids from which all proteins are made.”  Our closest relatives (gorillas, bonobos and chimpanzees)  are mainly plant based.

A baby’s first food is not meat, it’s SWEET (because it’s sugar water) breastmilk, then soft fruits, soft veggies, and then finally meat (when the back teeth come in). Breast milk is sweet, with 2% or less protein and fat, because our brains are made out of hardened, crystallized sugar and trace mineral salts. Which also means that muscles are built from sugar and trace mineral salts too.

Diabetics (that don’t have organ damage ‘type 1’) are diabetic because their bodies can’t get sugar into the cell due to fat that blocks the receptors, causing insulin resistance. Sugar- good sugar found in plants is the energy currency of the cell. The life force energy. Those complex sugars are complex because locked within the sugar molecules are the minerals and vitamins contained within the plants, and the body uses sugar to drive them into the cell. So even if we eat something and we gain a nutrient from it, without the sugar, the body’s liver will package it in a sugar molecule so it can be driven into the cell, because that’s the “science” and biology of the body.

There are children who are born to animal based eaters everyday, they refuse to eat meat from birth or a young age, so their parents feed them plants, and they live! I know many of these people, and their souls are not wrong, they are trying to tell us something innate. All of that to say: we should really have more love and compassion for the fruits and vegetables of this earth! It’s our first food. As babies, and in the beginning of time.

The constant food wars are overrated AND exhausting. I’m SO over it! This ideology that if you don’t eat meat you’re missing critical nutrients is just that – an ideology – there’s no proof behind it. It’s a harmful ideology because it suffocates our good wisdom, and our ability to see & appreciate the life force that plants contain within them for us.

Both plant based eaters, and animal based eaters are sick. They are all in the hospitals for the same exact things. SIBO, IBS, Crohn’s disease, autoimmune disorders, heart attacks, strokes, bad PMS, infertility, PCOS, bloating, low HCL, rapid aging, dental issues, all of it. That’s because the real issue is that everyone is fattening themselves to death. Between the explosion of viruses and bacteria, DDT that still circulates the world and is sprayed in other countries, other toxic chemical waste falling from the sky that lands in our water (along with what’s already in our deceptively clean looking water), and on our food. Oh, and don’t get me going on how the cow actually has more of an accumulation of poison in it because it literally spends its life outside eating the grass that was rained on with toxic metals, pesticides, herbicides, DDT, and other poisons. There is no fucking escape from this. Healing goes far deeper than these mindless food wars.

We stay sick because of the trillionaires at the top, the chemical industries, big pharma, and fucking evil peices of shit people dont want us to heal. They want us to die. All of us. It doesn’t matter who you are. Just because you’re white, middle class, and drive a nice car and live in America, don’t think for a second that these evil pieces of trash value your life or your childrens. That’s why they still sell air fresheners, fabric softener, and other toxic chemical crap. They dont fucking care.

The meat vs plant argument needs to die. We need to stop fighting each other, and start fighting THEM! We must rise.

Meat is a nutritious food, and it absolutely helped us move into colder climates, and survive long hard winters. That all came with the discovery of how to create fire as well.

We are tropical creatures at heart.

There’s a reason why fruit is so beautiful. It IS mineral and vitamin rich. The soils we have here on earth are depleted- yes, but not enough to where they don’t grow food that help sustain us and the animals that eat it. The soil does have nutrients, that’s why the food grows. Plants are important.

Plants nourish the animals that eat it, and grow their muscles, their brains and their eyes.

This nonsense about fruit and veggies not being as powerful as meat, when it makes the meat that we eat, makes me fucking sick to my stomach, now that I have been on the other side. It’s a fucking lie.

This whole idea that our brains were expanded by meat is just a theory, and really just a hypothesis because it is not backed up by a lot of science, at all. And, if meat did expand our brain why is it not currently expanding our brains further (our brains are actually shrinking as we age according to research, which isn’t normal and I bet all those autopsies that were done to conclude that information were done on the majority of meat eaters), and the brains of our closest ape cousins. I FUCKING DARE science and research to throw a gorilla, bonobo, or a chimp into  a cage and feed it just meat. Let’s see if their brains expand. I bet they DON’T! I bet they fucking die, because meat doesn’t contain everything. It’s not the fucking holy grail or the fountain of youth.

Doctors are even recommending to their heart patients to cut back on their meat consumption, because they (after years of practice) see the effects it has on the heart and the body.

Plants decay and leave no trace; unlike bones, the archaeological records of plants are minimal because they decompose and don’t leave traces of evidence unless they are imprinted in a special way into fossils, so don’t tell me that fruit wasn’t as big and available as it is today. That’s nonsense! There’s no proof of that in existence. We don’t know everything. That is to say, we have yet to discover SO much, and we limit our sights by creating, imposing and perpetuating these ideologies around meat consumption throughout history.

For a long, long time, I used to eat meat (and I still occasionally do, I just don’t obsess about it anymore). I danced all three of my meals around protein. I looked up all the best research to validate myself. Figuring out what to eat to be healthy has been MY PASSION for the last 15 years. It’s the whole reason I went to school for chemistry. I was bent on learning what the building blocks were, and I knew it was related to the food we ate.

I remember harassing my cousin Josh about his pescatarian / vegan ways, and told him to make sure to supplement. Now that I have truly been on the other side, it is like a veil has been lifted from in front of my eyes. I see more truth now then I ever have. I see the institutions, the colleges, how they all teach us what they want us to know for their own profit.

There was a beginning, two of us somewhere. Maybe a whole colony.  It started somewhere. And we lived off the land. And that land was plenty.

It is because our interest shifted. WE left the land of the warm, and set out on a journey to explore, to the land of the cold. And that is when we adopted an animal based diet. TO survive. Not to thrive.

Additional things:

Our digestive tract is long and shaped more like our plant based animal cousins, then a carnivore’s digestive tract, which is very short.

And, our teeth are flat, and shaped for grinding plants, unlike carnivores that have serrated back teeth, capable of slicing raw flesh.

Zazie Leigh The Compassionate Health Advisor Birthkeeper Medical Massage Therapist Hi World! I'm a NOLA native, Zazie Leigh. My passion and purpose on this earth is to educate humanity how to reverse chronic disease and illness (E.g. autoimmune disease, diabetes, eczema, premature aging, autism, bell’s palsy, candida, chronic fatigue syndrome, colitis, depression and anxiety, all mood disorders, PTSD, TMJ & Jaw pain, lyme disease, addiction, viral and bacterial infections, and so many more), to heal fractures in the soul body that are linked to emotional, physical, and mental trauma that prevent healing from occurring, and to elevate society so that all people are sovereign, free from the system of control that severs us from our divine connection to our humanity, which keeps us sick and dependent. Everyone has the option (and will not be limited due to the lack of funds) to learn what the true causes are of all chronic disease and illness, why we stay sick, how to heal, and the specific medicinal foods that reverse and remedy all illnesses that plague us, our animals, and the planet. All I ask is that I am compensated for my time, tools (if needed), and consideration if I am chosen as your “Health Advisor”. I am a birthkeeper: a professional childbirth consultant, family advocate, and holistic doula, all certified from The Matrona. I teach families how to actualize their potential to be self-directed and instinctual, and facilitate management of their birth outside and inside the medical model of care. I have an AquaDoula Birth Tub for rental and I’m willing to attend birth as a witness. I offer massage and prenatal checkups at the office or in your home. I have a deep reservoir of knowledge and training in regards to the biological function and feeding of the newborn: preventing reflux, colic, and digestive overload, which alleviates a hard, fussy, and sleepless first six+ months. I use common sense, wisdom, healing herbs, wild foods, fruits, vegetables, and homeopathy for emergencies, to expand and balance the blood, reverse reproductive infertility, nourish and promote a calm and happy baby, and support the family as a whole. Additional classes are available especially for fathers (and mothers as well) to empower and educate them to be the midman who receive their baby at birth, to maintain the family’s legal rights, become the supportive doula dad, and fully understand and embody the organic role of the father. Lastly, I am a medical massage therapist; I help rehabilitate and treat specific areas of complaint that need recovery, individually or grouped with joining muscles. I call these sessions partial body massages. Theta Massage sessions are a combination of reiki, light massage, and guided meditations to help heal the body, fractures in the soul, and aid in the wellness of the emotional mental body, and can be integrated into other modalities that I offer. I’m here! Offering sovereignty over our bodies & health as The Compassionate Health Advisor.
